「いのち」が「いのち」を食べる物語、第４弾。
選抜クラスでの熾烈な戦いの裏で暗躍するものたち――。
戦抜での戦闘は互いの「人外」のなにもかもが未知数で面白い！！
そして遂に対面する、選抜クラスの担任たちと飛たち特案。
引くに引けないところまで来ているので次巻が一つの山場になりそう！
４巻のTOPIC
- 虚心症の謎
「人外」を失った主が発症する病。
選抜クラスの人外喪失者にはなぜか意識がある。
それに、夜遅くに、皆で地下のどこかに行ってしまう。怪しい…
- 萌日花の能力…？
人外視者の彼女。
近くにいる「人外」の存在を感じられるだけではなく、集中すれば「人外」の感覚を借りることができる。
今回は単純に目（視覚）を借りて灰崎の捜索をしました。
しかし、リスクも大きい。血だらけになってました……
感想
「人外」同士のバトルが熱いです！！
主と人外は一心同体。
主が強くなれば人外も強くなる、ということが明かされました。
バクの爪の形状がいろいろと変化し、強力な力を持ったわけですが、やはり声を掛け合えることが何よりの武器だと改めて思いましたね。
ホント、バクって何者なんですかね（笑）
食らえば食らうほど、飢えが満たされない。そこだけが不安要素です。
一方で、選抜クラスでの任務は佳境に差し掛かりました（多分）。
強そうな象さんが出たところで話は終わり、カオスな状態に……
今後が全く読めないので次巻がとっても楽しみです！！
